It has been reported that this SSD has been on overseas Amazon half a month ago, showing that it will be shipped in mid-October, of which the Samsung 990 PRO 2TB costs 324.9 euros (about 2274.3 yuan).
Now Samsung has begun to warm up for this new product, and it has also appeared on Samsung's official website. Samsung's official website currently has 1TB and 2TB versions of 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD and 990 PRO With Heatsink PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, but the release date has not been announced, and only the sales channels of offline stores are given.
This drive features an intelligent cooling solution. Nickel-plated controllers and thermal control algorithms dynamically manage heat to ensure consistent performance. Heat sink tags control NAND chip heat to maintain the right temperature for operation through Dynamic Thermal Guard technology.
According to reports, Samsung 990 Pro has improved energy efficiency, consuming less power than the previous generation, and the performance per watt is 50% higher than that of the 980 PRO.
